Sheikh Zayed Road
Dubai, a city of skyscrapers has a well up to the mark infrastructure. Metros, buses and roads are crowded with people all the time. Sheikh Zayed Road, which is also known as E-11, runs parallel to the shoreline from the Trade Center Roundabout to the border with Emirates of Abu Dhabi. The road is very popular in Dubai and was previously known as Defense road. Thirty kilometer of road was extended and with this extension, the name was changed. Sheikh Rashid, the ruler of Dubai in the past, changed the name to Sheikh Zayed Road after the king of the UAE. Driving on this road is magical and a large number of skyscrapers that include Emirates Tower surround it. The most convenient way to reach these skyscrapers is driving on this road either by your own car or by a rental car hired in Dubai.
The highways link to other renowned developments that include Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah. In conjunction with this road, metros run alongside with it to facilitate visitors and locals to move from one place to another. The road is busy all day long and metros running alongside are packed with commuters. Tourists all over the world daily drive through this road to reach their desired hotels or sights of interest.
